Le chat noir by Théophile Steinlen (1896)

Le chat noir—The Black Cat a nineteenth open for just sixteen years in the bohemian district of Montmartre in Paris, France. It is best known for its poster art by Théophile Steinlen displayed above. Acording to owner and host Rodolphe Salis - "The Chat Noir is the most extraordinary cabaret in the world. You rub shoulders with the most famous men of Paris, meeting there with foreigners from every corner of the world."
